No, you do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist at Recover Strong Physiotherapy. 

This depends on the patient’s insurer and individual policy, we would ask all patients to check with their insurer. 

Yes we do. However, there is a gap payment unless you have a healthcare care or pensioner card. The gap will be around $32. 

While observable improvements are often evident after 1-2 sessions, achieving complete recovery typically necessitates 3-4 sessions in the case of acute injuries. This duration accounts for the body’s requisite time to heal tissues affected by pain and inflammation. In chronic injury scenarios, this time frame may potentially double. 

Typically, the initial consult lasts approximately 40 minutes. The follow-up sessions are usually 30 minutes long.

Any information you have relating to your injury is most helpful. This includes your any specialist letters or scan results. 

Loose fitting, comfortable clothing is best. Wear shorts if you have a hip, knee or foot injury.
